Tu B'Shevat

Tu B'Shevat is a time to think about the change of seasons, and start
looking forward to spring. (How easy it is for you to do this depends
on how wintery it is where you live!) In Israel, it has become a religious
"Arbor Day" observed with the ritual planting of trees.

You can celebrate this holiday by planting a tree.

Things to do

Did you know...

  • Tu B'Shevat is at this time of year because in Israel, this is when
the tree sap starts to flow again.
